The Executive committee made up of parents is an integral part of our group; in fact as laid out within POR (The Scout Association Policy of Organisation & Rules) we are not allowed to operate as a group without one.- The maintenance of the Group’s property and equipment
- The raising of funds and the administration of the Group’s finance;
- The insurance of person, property and equipment
- Group public occasions;
- Assisting with the recruitment of leaders and other adult support
- Organising social events
The Group Chair’s Role
Work closely with and support the Group Scout Leader, maintaining effective communication. Work with the Group Scout Leader to encourage the development of Scouting within the Group and as part of the local community.
