Remembrance Parade 2016 &2017

February 29, 2020 By scoutsrule Leave a Comment

Thank you to all the members of all sections who turned out for the Remembrance day service at St Thomas’ Church on Sunday. Flag bearers, readers and those that took part in the service also did a great job and everyone was turned out very smartly!

The annual Remembrance service is to be held on Sunday the 12th November and it is an important date in the 3rd Brampton Scout Group’s calendar. It gives all members of our Group the opportunity to give their respect to all those that have been, or are still involved in, conflicts around the world.

Members of all Sections who are able to attend should meet at the entrance to St Thomas’ Church at 9.45am. Please ensure that you are in full uniform, including your poppy.

There will be a church service followed by a procession to the church Cenotaph for a 2 minute silence. Each Section will be represented by a flag bearer and two escorts whom your section leaders will have nominated. The Service is expected to be finished by 11.15am, and you are invited to join us for refreshments afterwards
