Scouts were asked to create an ‘outfit’ made from recycled materials – these are the results!
Our Autumn walk was enjoyed by the four Scouts that attended! The day started in drizzle, walking up the path/stream next to Peveril Castle. The rain stopped mid morning and held off for the rest of the day as we made our way round across the top of Mam Tor and back down to Castleton, at which point the sun even made an appearance. A big thank you to Mark who organised the route and got our Scouts involved in the map reading.
Scouts enjoying bonfire night.
Scouts enjoying a night of bouldering at The Climbing Works, Sheffield.
Scouts constructing moonbases out of newspaper – quite a tricky challenge!
Scouts and parents enjoyed a games night in Somerall park where we played a few rounds of rounders and dodgeball. Both parents and Scouts were very competitive.
The Scouts enjoyed a river walk along the River Hipper, starting at The Bulls Head, Holymoorside, and finishing at Somersall Park, Brampton. At certain places it was almost waist deep.
