Gruffalo Challenge – October 2015

Totem Poles & Wigwams – January 2015

Kicking off the New Year, the Beavers constructed and decorated totem poles and wigwams as part of their Global Challenge badge.

Mega Challenge Certificate & Visit From Furry Fred – November 2014

On the 21st November, as well as having a great night in the Planetarium with the Cubs, the Beavers had a Visit from Furry Fred. Fred was accompanied by the County Commissioner Tom Stoddard and Assistant County Commissioner for Beavers Joy Templar.

They came to present the Beaver Colony with their Mega Challenge Certificate and a gift. This means they have completed 21 challenge activities this year!

Beaver Sleepover – September 2016

The Beavers had their own sleepover at the Spitewinter campsite (they stayed in one of the cabins) at the end of September.

Beavers Fun Day – July 2016

The Beavers (and some Cubs and Scouts) had a great fun day at Spitewinter. There were a range of activities throughout the day, followed by hotdogs and burgers.

Linacre Reservoir Walk – May 2016

First Beaver hike of the year. The chocolate biscuits certainly went down well!

International Night – November 2017

As part of the activities for International Night, the Beavers learned about life in Kyrgyzstan. A big thank you to James’ mum for sharing her experiences of the country.

Activity Walk – September 2017

This week the Beavers took part in an activity walk around Somersall Park. A big thank you to the parent volunteers who helped out on the night. Everyone enjoyed a well earned bag of chips at the end of the night.

Linacre Reservoir Hike – May 2017

hike The weather was very wet during the week, but it brightened up a bit for the hike on Friday night, and all the Beavers had a great time.
