The 3rd Brampton Beavers had a fantastic day out at the Beaver Bonanza at the Drum Hill camp site. Around 1,300 Beavers from all over Derbyshire took part in the event.
They conquered the Jungle Adventure course, rode a Bucking Bronco, raced Camels, and went sledging as well as taking a River Trip over a waterfall, exploring the Great Barrier Reef and Hunting the Yeti. They travelled through Australasia, The Americas, Asia and Africa and got home in time for tea. They also met Furry Fred who along with Red Fox (Acc Beaver Scouts) presented the group with their Furry Fred Global Challenge – Midi Challenge Certificate and prize. Well done to all the Beavers for their hard work, and thank you to the county for putting on a great day for everyone
